Clancy Holdout Juror: 'I Didn't Have Any Doubts'

Michael P. Desronvil, the lone holdout juror who forced a mistrial in the Lindsay Clancy murder case, has spoken publicly for the first time and said he had no doubt she was guilty of killing her three children.
Desronvil, 48, said the prosecution presented "enough proof that she knew exactly what she was doing," and told NewsNation he never had any doubts, according to reporting by the New York Post and The Right Scoop.
His account directly contradicts other jurors, who have said he conceded he had reasonable doubt and still refused to vote for acquittal.
His attorney, Edward Paltzik, said Desronvil is "safe and sound at an undisclosed secure location in a rural area of Northern New England."

Jury foreperson Roni Carlson has said Desronvil acknowledged he had reasonable doubt but still would not vote not guilty by reason of insanity.
Juror Nick Dargie said Desronvil could not point to "a single piece of evidence" to support his position during deliberations.
Clancy's attorney, Kevin Reddington, has said he would not accept a plea deal that involves prison time.

Plymouth County District Attorney Timothy Cruz has not announced whether he will seek a retrial. That decision now sits at the center of the case.
CBS's "60 Minutes" is set to air an interview on Sunday with Patrick Clancy, Lindsay Clancy's ex-husband and a witness at the trial.
