Trump Admin is Under Fire Over Epstein Reversal

The News

President Donald Trump became defensive when asked about his administration’s handling of the federal government’s investigation into Jeffrey Epstein, particularly the deceased sex offender’s so-called client list.

“Are you still talking about Jeffrey Epstein? This guy’s been talked about for years,” Trump told reporters on Tuesday at the White House before a Cabinet meeting. “We have Texas, we have this, we have all of the things. Are people still talking about this guy, this creep? That is unbelievable.”

Trump’s Department of Justice and FBI caused confusion this week after they released a memo finding there was no evidence that Epstein blackmailed powerful men with his client list or that he was murdered.

Then, in February, Attorney General Pam Bondi released Epstein files that were already available before telling Fox News his client list was “on her desk” to be reviewed.

Bondi could not answer questions about Epstein being an intelligence agent for the United States or a foreign agency, with speculation that he could have worked for Israel‘s Mossad. However, she did answer questions concerning the missing minute from surveillance video outside Epstein’s jail cell on the night he died in 2019.

Reactions

On Tuesday, before Trump’s Cabinet meeting, Bondi told reporters she was referring to the Epstein files, along with documents related to the assassinations of President John F. Kennedy and Martin Luther King.

“The video was not conclusive, but the evidence prior to it was, showing he committed suicide,” she said. “There was a minute that was off the counter, and what we learned from the Bureau of Prisons is every year, every night, they redo that video. … So every night the video is reset, and every night should have the same minute missing.”

Trump faces massive backlash

Elon Musk: "How can people be expected to have faith in Trump if he won’t release the Epstein files?"

Tucker Carlson: “The current DOJ under Pam Bondi is covering up crimes, very serious crimes”

Glen Beck: "Pam Bondi should resign—not because of a cover-up, but for incompetence."

Alex Jones: "I’m going to go throw up actually… I mean, I’m physically gonna puke, probably right now."

Mike Cernovich: "We will continue asking about Epstein."

Owen Shroyer: "We're watching people on X cover up for Jeffrey Epstein in real time. This has to be one of the most disgusting despicable things I've ever seen. Selling out for politics is one thing. Selling out for Pedophiles is another. Inexcusable. Unacceptable. Unforgivable."

Jack Posobiec: "This is not how you treat the American people, this is not how you treat basic communications, this is not how you treat your voters and your supporters..."

Liz Wheeler: "I’m supposed to be on vacation, but it’s time to fire Pam Bondi"

Trisha Hope - National Delegate-TX: "I voted for this man 3 times, I campaigned for him, I worked my ass off and I feel like I do not recognize him at ALL. THIS IS SICKENING!!!!"

Hodgetwins: "I didn’t vote for elite pedophiles to be protected"

Laura Loomer: "We need an investigation into Pam Blondi."

Nick Fuentes: “It seems they have something on him [Trump], and that's always been my concern..”

Dr. Simon Goddek: "Is there seriously anyone left on this platform who still doubts Elon Musk ’s claim that Trump was named in the Epstein Files?"

More

The findings conflicted with Trump administration officials, including FBI Director Kash Patel and FBI Deputy Director Dan Bongino, stoking conspiracy theories before their respective nominations and confirmations that Epstein was killed to stop his client list from becoming public.
