YouTuber Jack Doherty Arrested on Domestic Battery

The News
YouTube star Jack Doherty, 22, was arrested Friday on a misdemeanor domestic battery charge in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, after police said he and a woman fought inside a residence.
Fort Lauderdale police said officers responded to a reported "domestic dispute" just before noon in the city's Riverside Park neighborhood, on the 1400 block of Southwest Fifth Court.
Initial information showed Doherty and "a female victim got into a physical dispute inside a residence," police said. The woman, who has not been identified, was not injured.
Doherty was booked into the Broward County Main Jail. He was still being held with no listed bond as of Friday evening, online records show.
Timeline
Doherty totals a $200,000 McLaren, reportedly while texting and driving in the rain during a livestream on Kick. "All my money's gone," he says after the wreck. He is banned from the platform.
Miami Beach police arrest Doherty on drug possession and resisting arrest charges. Video showed him challenging a group of officers to "a duel" in the middle of a street moments before he was cuffed. He was carrying amphetamine and marijuana at the time of the arrest, and was released on $3,500 bail. Miami-Dade court records show he later entered a deferred prosecution program.

Reactions
Fort Lauderdale police, in a statement to the New York Post, described the incident as a physical dispute between Doherty and a female victim inside a residence and said the woman was uninjured.
A source close to Doherty told TMZ that he acted in self-defense. Specific details of what happened inside the home remain unclear.
In his booking photo, Doherty appears to have a cut on his cheek, the New York Post reported. It is not clear whether the injury came from the dispute.
