Tyler Boebert, the 21-year-old son of Rep. Lauren Boebert, R-Colo., was arrested in Colorado on five felony counts tied to the alleged sexual exploitation of a child, authorities said Monday.
The Garfield County Sheriff's Office said Tyler Boebert was taken into custody on an arrest warrant following an investigation with local prosecutors.
He faces three counts of sexual exploitation of a child and two counts of contributing to the delinquency of a minor, according to court records reported by Raw Story.
All five charges list Jan. 1, 2024, as the alleged offense date. He was released on a $10,000 bond and has not yet entered a plea.

In 2024, Tyler Boebert pleaded guilty to identity theft and received a deferred sentence; Garfield County District Judge John Neiley warned him not to squander the plea deal.
On Sunday, Aug. 9, jail records show he was booked into the Garfield County jail and released the same day, per the Chicago Tribune.
On Monday, Aug. 10, the sheriff's office and multiple outlets confirmed the new charges.

Rep. Boebert addressed the arrest in a statement: "I love my son. We take these allegations very seriously and pray for everyone affected during this challenging time."
TMZ reported that Tyler Boebert's ex-girlfriend showed police a 43-second video he had filmed of her, which the outlet said led to the arrest.
What's Next
Tyler Boebert's first court appearance in the new case is set for Aug. 19 in Garfield County District Court.
Two sentencing hearings tied to his earlier case are already scheduled — Sept. 4 in Weld County and Sept. 10 in Garfield County.
Rep. Boebert is reportedly expected to testify on her son's behalf at both September hearings. How the new felony charges interact with his existing deferred sentence remains legally unresolved.
